Early 20th century Pairpoint Lamp & Reverse Painted Shade

An early 20th lamp by Pairpoint Glass Co., Massachusetts. Two light design, shade with reverse painted scenic decoration on a fluted baluster-form patinated metal base with recumbent creature and cornucopia motifs about the shoulder. Shade twice marked “The Pairpoint Corp”, base impressed with maker’s mark and “Pairpoint, D3053”. Shade measures approximately 16″ in diameter, lamp measures 21″ high overall.
