Buffet-deux-Corps

A 19th century French Renaissance Revival Period Buffet-deux-Corps from Normandy in Northern France.  Walnut construction with a stepped molded cornice over a carved frieze with masks and mythical beasts, two doors with carved panels flanked by carved figural pilasters with a shallow drawer on a base with two short, dovetailed drawers and two carved foliate panel doors flanked by figural pilasters on a molded base with turned feet.  Measures 40 x 22 x 71″ high overall.
